PRAYER FOR THE SICK
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness that whosoever looked upon it will be healed, even so Jesus was lifted up on the cross to give us the same blessings of salvation and healing. Jesus has the power to save and to heal (Jn 3:14, Mt 9:6-7).
We ask those brethren who have a burden for the sick, to join us in prayer every Friday nights from 9 to 10pm. If you can pray 15 minutes or as much as you will, God will bless you for it. Go to the link button to the right of this page titled PRAYER FOR THE SICK and click on it. We will continue praying for the sick on this set time, until we are led in a different direction, in which time we will notify our participants.
If you are sick, we invite you to come and call upon the Lord together with us right there in the privacy of your room. Stretch out your hand and make contact with your computer and pray, or just lift up your head to heavens and pray. Come to this prayer session as many times as possible for prayer. Stay in this page while you are seeking prayer, don’t go to another page, or have any other device turned on in the room. Don't look to the images posted on this page, just look to God. If any of our participants have someone sick in your family, bring them to our prayer for the sick session right there in the privacy of their room. Have a laptop or desk top available and log to this website; go to the link PRAYER FOR THE SICK page every Fridays 9 to 10pm. God’s mercies are great above the heavens, and he will visit us.
We thank God for all the ministers who pour out their lives for the churches. This prayer for the sick is only an aid to the work of God. Your faithfulness to your local church is very essential. God is Lord of all, and he rules over everything. At times he does things different from the traditions of the time.
One time Jesus spat on the ground and made clay, then he placed it over the eyes of a blind man and healed him (Jn 9:6,7). In the same manner, this may not be a normal church service, but his promise is sure. If there is two or three gather in one accord in his will, he will be there also (Mat 18:19,20). For your comfort we posted some of his promises, and the psalmist,s declaration.
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God………. For I am the Lord that healeth thee’ Ex 15:26).
‘Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;who healeth all thy diseases’ (Ps 103:3).
‘But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings …..’ (Mal 4:2).
‘But he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed’ (Isa 53:5).
……….fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones’ (Prov 3:7-8).
O Lord my God, I cried unto thee; and thou hast healed me. O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit’ (Ps 30:2,3).
‘He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions’ (Ps 107 20).
Jesus said, ‘All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth’ (Mat 28:18).
‘And Jesus went about ……………. healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people’ (Mat 4:23).
