DEBBIE’S DREAM
My name is Deborah, years ago when brother Chacko was with us, I had a dream that God gave me a grey car.
When I came to church on Saturday, I told brother Chacko about the dream. Brother Chacko then told me that he was selling a grey car. My response was that, I am not looking to purchase a car and at the time I couldn’t afford one anyway. He then said to me with his daughter in law standing next to him, that he will pray and see if God wants him to give me the car. He came back to church the next day which was Sunday and declared that God told him to give me the car without charge.
That car was truly a blessing for years. People begged me to get rid of the old Chevrolet, I refused to do so for a long time.
This dream belongs to a sister from a local church
Commentary by Bro Nelson:
Dear participant:
Our father in heaven loves us and is aware of all our needs (Mat 6:6-8). Although we don’t see him his always there and is listening (1P 3:12).
When Jesus sent his disciples to go by faith and preach the gospel, the disciples where worried about some of their basic needs. Jesus comforted them and told them that the Father (God) was aware of their needs (Mt 10:29).
He emphasized the importance of prayer believing with faith (Mk 11:24). But he also added that we must have a spirit of forgiveness towards others when we stand in prayer (Mk 11:25).
The Lord also counseled us not to do like the hypocrites (Pharisees) or be vain as to be seen by others for he is watching from above (Mt 6:5-8).
Because God forgave man through the price of the blood of Jesus (Heb 9:22), Jesus became the mediator between God and man (Heb 7:25). For our prayer to be effectual, we must make sure that at the end of our prayer; we must let the Father know we are asking in the name of Jesus (Jn 14:13,14)
Finally, our prayer must be constant, without ceasing (1Thess 5:17) and with thanksgiving.
May God bless you; we hope this testimony be a blessing to you
In the Lord
